The room felt bare, with only one chair in a double room, pretty ridiculous. The breakfast options were quite limited, and while the cleanliness was acceptable, it didn't hit the mark, feeling a bit neglected and worn overall. Late-night parking was a bit tricky, as spots behind the hotel can fill up fast, and some may need to be guided to alternate parking options. It needed better organization regarding facilities and service.

Friendly price, good location, cosy room.
Noises from other rooms coming through air ventilation hole. Future guests have to pay attention the fact that foodstaff stores are closed in that area on Sunday.

Clean rooms, calm area. One can easily regulate heating conditions in the room. Good restaurant and bar.
No big stores nearby. Uninhabited office area around only.

Rooms could use better appointments!!! Only one chair in a double room is ridiculous!!! Two false fire alarms in one day made it clear there's a lack of organization!!! It's frustrating not to have beverages in the room!!!

Clean and Cheap
I went to the restaurant about 15 minutes before the close. I was treated rude, even though I asked if they would still serve me and they said yes. I ordered a salad and some garlic bread and my salad had a hair in it at the end. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said he was sorry. The Friday night I was there was also a music night in the bar on the 6th floor. The music was very loud in my room and made it difficult to fall sleep. I would recommend in the future to not have guests on the 5th floor on a Friday night, unless the entire hotel is full. I had planned to go back to Riga with my family sometime during the Christmas break, and I thought it would have a been a good place, but now I will probably look for another hotel for this purpose. Its too bad because otherwise it was a delightful place to be.

The hotel's location was excellent, providing easy access to the city and nearby attractions. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast options were tasty.
The lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room was disappointing.

Anna is the best receptionist ever !!
Current management has changed name and format of the Sunny Terrace lounge bar upstairs. Used to be fun/fantastic place. Though, BORING these days. P.S. they did change name of the hotel itself as well. Better would put more attention of cleanness of walls, carpets and elevator. I guess..

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Lack of insulation between rooms - it was VERY NOISY! Booked a 2 night stay but the partying in the room next door was just too much and forced us to leave.

Good location with easy access to the city. The spacious room provided a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was decent but could benefit from more variety. Having free parking was a significant advantage, though the absence of tea/coffee facilities in the room was disappointing. Friendly staff ensured a pleasant experience throughout.

The room was comfortable and clean.
We paid for an upgrade and got a tree to look out onto on the fifth floor? We came to Riga to see the City sights but this trees branches covered the whole of our window and we couldnt see anything at all? Think it would of been better not to of had the upgrade and maybe no tree. It spoilt our visit. We stayed for three days and each day there were several coaches in the car park. When we went down to Breakfast the coach trip people had taken over the Breakfast room, and we had trouble trying to find somewhere to sit. The Breakfast was not always complete and needed replacing.
